Privacy Policy
How GBK Consulting Group Inc. collects, uses, and protects information you provide through this website. This policy applies to the website only; client data inside a signed engagement is governed by the engagement letter.
1. Who we are
GBK Consulting Group Inc. ("GBK", "we", "us") is a Florida-based accounting consulting firm located at 1920 E Hallandale Beach Blvd, Hallandale Beach, FL 33009. We provide accounting cleanup, QuickBooks review, monthly close, controller support, audit readiness, and outsourced accounting services to owner-led businesses in South Florida and remotely across the U.S.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you submit
- Contact form: name, business name, email, phone, message, service of interest, language preference.
- Scheduling (Calendly): name, email, phone, business details, and scheduling preferences you share when booking a diagnostic call.
- Email and messaging: the contents of messages you send to admin@gbkconsultinginc.com, info@gbkconsultinginc.com, or through WhatsApp.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Analytics: via Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 — including IP-derived approximate location, device/browser, pages viewed, referrer, session timing, and events such as form submissions and Calendly clicks.
- Marketing pixels: Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram) fires through Google Tag Manager and may be used to measure ad performance and build audiences.
- CRM tracking: HubSpot may set cookies that help us understand which pages a known contact viewed.
3. Cookies and tracking
We use first-party and third-party cookies and similar technologies (pixels, local storage) for analytics, marketing measurement, CRM identification, and language preference. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies may break parts of the site (for example, language switching or form analytics).
4. How we use information
- To respond to inquiries and schedule diagnostic calls.
- To evaluate whether a potential engagement is a fit and to prepare a proposal.
- To send follow-up communications about the services you asked about.
- To measure marketing performance and improve the website.
- To comply with our legal, tax, and regulatory obligations as a Florida business.
5. How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share limited information with service providers acting on our behalf:
- HubSpot — CRM and forms.
- Calendly — meeting scheduling.
- Google — Tag Manager and Analytics 4.
- Meta Platforms — Meta Pixel for ad measurement.
- Email and messaging providers — to send and receive correspondence.
- Hosting and serverless platform (Vercel) — to deliver the website and run the lead-capture endpoint.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer.
6. Data retention
We retain inquiry data for as long as needed to evaluate fit, respond to you, comply with legal obligations, and support our legitimate business interests (typically up to 7 years for records connected to a paid engagement, consistent with general tax record-keeping practice in the U.S.). You can ask us to delete data sooner where no legal obligation requires retention.
7. Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information. No internet transmission or storage system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Do not send highly sensitive information (such as full Social Security numbers, banking credentials, or protected health information) through the website.
8. Your choices and rights
- Access and correction: ask us what we have on file and ask us to correct it.
- Deletion: ask us to delete your data, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Marketing opt-out: reply "unsubscribe" to any marketing email or contact us directly.
- Cookies: manage via your browser; use opt-outs from Google Analytics and Meta where available.
- Do Not Track: our website does not respond to "Do Not Track" signals at this time.
To exercise any of these rights, email admin@gbkconsultinginc.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
9. Children's privacy
The website is intended for business owners and operators and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10. International users
The website is hosted in the United States. If you access the site from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country.
11. State-specific notices
Florida residents may have rights under Florida law concerning the collection and use of personal information. Residents of California, Texas, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and certain other states may also have specific rights, including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of certain processing. Send requests to admin@gbkconsultinginc.com.
12. Changes to this Policy
